Comprehensive CASC Course Structure:

Oxfordpsych Comprehensive CASC Courses are led by experienced consultant psychiatrists, clinical educators and CASC experienced actors who offer highly interactive training in small groups. The courses enable you to identify and work on your personal areas to improve, in order to do well in the CASC exams.

Oxfordpsych courses are designed to help you learn the clinical and communication skills assessed in CASC, beginning with core clinical skills and working towards advanced skills in a systematic manner. Working in small groups, you will learn the skills and apply them in history taking, assessment and management stations, with both the shorter (90 second) and longer (4 minute) reading time, in alignment with the new CASC exam format. The course builds towards completing circuits of stations, across the CASC Blueprint, to time, with written feedback.

Our newly designed Oxfordpsych Comprehensive CASC Course package now includes specific training to prepare you to conceptualise written information in 4 minutes, then to use that information in the new management, assessment and history taking stations in the new CASC format.

Oxfordpsych Comprehensive CASC Course booking includes access to 33 online CASC videos, and to the online CASC Course Materials, coovering the new style management, history taking and assessment scenarios. Access is available from time of booking until the next CASC sitting.

Access to the online CASC videos is also available to purchase separately.

Our team of examiners and actors are very experienced in the CASC format, and aim to provide an authentic experience in a supportive environment, with excellent individualised feedback from both an examiner's and actor's perspective. The majority of the actors have worked in the CASC exam, and provide the same level of challenge to the real stations of CASC.
