By the end of the Oxfordpsych CASC online course, you will be able to:
1. Develop core skills required to perform any CASC scenario.
2. Implement the core skills in a variety of CASC style stations, including assessment, history taking and explanation stations, with short and longer reading times.
3. Identify the advanced skills required to aid control of the interview and manage difficult communication scenarios in a confident and professional manner.
4. Differentiate the key essential elements required in any CASC station scenario, across the range of specialities, and approach the required elements in a structured way.
5. Evaluate their own performance in the demonstration of the skills and competencies assessed in CASC, incorporating insight from the facilitators and personal reflection.
6. Understand the format of the new stations in CASC and be able to conceptualise what is needed in both the 4 minute and 90 second reading, and that impacts on addressing the station content.
