Since it first began, Oxfordpsych has a history of sharing good practice with psychiatrists overseas, and have been running courses alongside experienced psychiatrists and educators across the world. So far they have worked in Ireland, Egypt, India, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Malta, and are always looking for new places to teach!

OXFORDPSYCH CASC MODULE

 Prepare for the RCPsych CASC exams in a smarter way through Oxfordpsych CASC online module - a collection of more than 250 video clips to help you improve the flow your conversation, structure your CASC consultation and complete the tasks in the given time. 

Observe the Video clips of small group discussions, demonstration and application of core and advanced skills in assessment, history taking and explanation scenarios and challenging CASC situations would help you learn skills needed to perform well in the CASC exams

At the end of the module you will be able to :

1. Outline skills needed to improve the flow of conversation.
2. List skills needed to improve the structure of a CASC consultation.
3. Develop framework for clusters in assessment, history taking and explanation scenarios.
4. Identify ways to apply the skills discussed through watching the demonstration and application of the skills in 7 minute scenarios.
5. Outline skills needed to manage challenging situations in CASC effectively through observing the application of advanced skills. 
6. Use Oxfordpsych CASC Cluster cards effectively and develop your own clusters for CASC stations.
7. Compare and contrast the consultations observed and feedback given with your own style and approach.
8. Develop clusters and have an evidence based plan to approach any CASC scenario.
